MONEY LAUNDERING (PROHIBITION & PREVENTION) ACT 2022

[AS MAY BE AMENDED FROM TIME TO TIME]

OUR BANK IS OBLIGED TO REPORT THE FOLLOWING TRANSACTIONS TO REGULATORY AUTHORITIES:

  • A transfer to or from a foreign country of funds or securities of USD10,000 and above or its equivalent in other foreign currencies by an individual or a body corporate.
  • Any single transaction, lodgement, or transfer of funds from:
  • N5,000,000 (Five Million Naira) and above for Individuals
  • N10,000,000 (Ten Million Naira) and above for Corporate Entities
  • All suspicious transactions are in line with the provisions of the CBN Anti-Money Laundering, Combating Financing of Terrorism, and Countering Proliferation Financing of Weapons of Mass Destruction in Financial Institutions (AML/CFT/CPF) Regulations 2022 and the Money Laundering (Prevention and Prohibition) Act 2022.
